Buckskin Filly by Pluto II Dixana out of Cremello sporthorse mare Docs Skye Bleu.
Dixie is currently being weaned and accepting life as a "big girl". She is handled daily, stands well for farrier & vet, accepts blankets, fly masks, sprays, lotions and grooming along with handling of ears, mouth, and all body parts.
Dixie loves attention and has a very trusting brave personality. She's a gorgeous buckskin color with silver highlights in her mane and tail. Her mother is an AQHA cremello when bred with the correct color Stud, produces this outstanding color. We chose to breed to Pluto II Dixana for many reasons. His elegance, work ethic, trainability and proven produer of performance horses, are just a few of the reasons. We chose "DIX" and the color was just a bonus. Dixie is very athletic loves to jump anything in her sight and does "airs" like her cousin ConMan. She certainly catches everyone's eye and will get you noticed in the show ring. We expect her to mature to approx 15.3 hands.
"Miss Personality" is full of herself, inquisitive, brave and not shy. Definately the daughter of the boss mare. She listens well, accepts new things with curosity, not fear and is very forward moving even at this young age. Sher grand-dam was a 3 day event champion, Ladyhawke, and her grand-sire Bellottas Golden Boy is an AQHA/PBA ROM, Multiple event Champion and producer of Champions
who excel in halter and performance events.
